Dr. Yu is a graduate of University of Oxford, England. He graduated with a First-Class Honour Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences in 1997 and also received training in dermatology in Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore, USA as an undergraduate. After completing his medical training at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, Dr. Yu returned to Hong Kong in 2001 and began his training in internal medicine at Queen Mary Hospital and subsequently underwent specialist training in Dermatology and Venereology in the Department of Health. Dr. Yu joined St. Teresa's Hospital in 2007 as a consultant and founded the Skin and Laser Centre in St. Teresa's Hospital.
